‘This was the first year we took part in the Great Place to Work competition,’ says Sofie Liekens, HR manager at Upgrade Estate. ‘We built a website from scratch featuring the topics that are important to our company and that make Upgrade Estate an “Upgreat Place to Work”.

For example, we described our unique method of recruiting, onboarding, giving thanks, celebrating and inspiring. We aim to create added value for the parties involved in everything we do, and it goes without saying that we put our own staff first.

In addition to submitting a file, companies were also assessed according to a satisfaction survey taken by all their employees. ‘I still get goose pimples every time I remember that our satisfaction score was a whopping great 95%!’
